THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE: In Songwriting Mode

October 7, 2008

Dutch death metallers THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE have issued the following update:

"At this moment we're working on new tunes for our upcoming second album. At the end of this year, THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE will start recording the follow-up to last year's 'Pitch Black Dawn' (Apache Productions). We already started the pre-production and laid down the first five tracks. The new tunes came out groovy, heavy and brutally stomping (with the help of our new endorser, Mayones, and our new Engl and Ampeg amps). We're arranging another seven tracks at the moment. Some titles you can expect on the new album are: 'Born In Bloodshed', 'Graveyard Ave.', 'Dirt' and 'A Perfect Dead Night'. We are fired up and eager to get into the studio again, so be prepared for another step towards damnation!"

Fan-filmed video footage of THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE's December 23, 2007 performance at 013 in Tilburg, the Netherlands as part of the Heavy X-Mass festival can be viewed below.

THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE's full-length debut, "Pitch Black Dawn", was released in Europe in October 2007 via the Belgium-based label Apache Productions (SONS OF JONATHAS, SPOIL ENGINE, SOUTHERN VOODOO). The CD was mastered by Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES). In addition to six brand new tracks, the album contains re-recordings of three previously released demo songs.
